Here is a super rare pair of Murano lamps with a whimsical and elegant style. According to the original importer they were made in the late 1950's or early 1960's. The colors are dark amethyst and white, with a motherlode of 24 kt. gold inclusions. The lamps actually appear dark brown or black in most light.

Each lamp has two distinctly different personalities. One side is predominately dark brown with white spots and the other side is white with dark brown spots. They are spectacular!

They stand 32 1/2 inches tall to the socket top. The glass body alone is just over 25 inches tall - very imposing. The glass is perfect with no cracks, chips, blisters, or blips. The solid wood bases have a gold leaf finish and are 7 inches in diameter.
